USATF-CT Road Grand Prix Tentative Schedule 2008-09:
Representatives from Connecticut clubs which regularly have many runners competing in state championships met November 7, 2007 to select championship races for the next two years. The races selected must be notified and they must affirm several details before the schedule is official.

The LDR committee is composed of the open and masters chairs and one member from each of the following clubs: Hartford Track Club, HiTek, Housatonic, Milford Road Runners, Mohegan Striders, Warren Street and Woodbridge Running Company Women. The committee met on Wednesday, November 9th to consider bids for the Road Race Grand Prix Series for 2006/2007. T The committee thanks all of those races that put in race bids.

The USA Track and Field
(USATF)-Connecticut Association announces the 2005 Road Race
Grand Prix
Each race is a complete
championship for teams in the Open, Master, Grand Master, and
Senior age-group categories. The Open men are required to have
a minimum of 5 members on their team, all other categories
only require a minimum of 3 members per team. Each runner must
be a current USATF/CT member and belong to a current USATF/CT
Club prior to the race in order to be eligible to score and/or
win money.
Each race offers over $1,300 in
cash awards to qualified teams. Over the years, cash has been
disbursed midway through the season and at the conclusion of
the season following eligibility review.
