Attendance- Grimes, Barber, Hawley, Graustein, Baiardi, Gemske The meeting was called to order at 7:25 P.M.

Motion to accept minutes was proposed by Hawley and seconded by Barber.

AGENDA

Treasurer- No report
Membership- Jim Barber reported that there are now 774 members of USATF/CT since our indoor meet in March. We also received a rebate from national from numerous on-line applicants.

AREA CHAIRPERSONS
LDR- Will Graustein reported that at their last meeting , division of jobs was discussed. Clubs in the region of a race will take on most of the responsibilities for that race. Will will assign a contact person for that race. A scoring subcommittee will be formed to collect memberships, gather results, tabulate scores and get them submitted to the website. Also the Women's AADP race will be 4/11/04. Prize money will go to the top 2-3 racers. This will help defray the cost for them to go to the Freihofer's 5K National Championships. The 1st roadrace of the Grand Prix will be 5/1/04. The next meeting will be at SCSU at 6pm 5/5/04
MASTERS- No report
OFFICIALS-Yvonne Grimes reported that there was an officials training clinic 3/15/04. 48 attended and 9 others were trained in the Lynx timing system. There have already been calls inquiring about upcoming meets.

OLD BUSINESS
Non-profit status- Will Graustein reported that he met with attorney Moeler. Mark Young needs to fill out paperwork from the last three years income statements and submit them for consideration.

Youth summer meets- Yvonne Grimes reported that the meets being offered will be in the membership mailing and posted on the website.

USATF/CT indoor meet-Yvonne Grimes reported that the meet went well and results will be posted on the website. $1080.00 was taken in. $2830.00 were our total expenses including prize money. Discussion followed on ways to lessen the loss.

NEW BUSINESS-
Yvonne Grimes reported that the USATF/CT Outdoor Championships will be 7/25/04 at SCSU. Featured master's events will be shotput, LJ, 100m, 400m and the 3000m races. The Ct. J.O. meet will also be at SCSU on 6/19/04
