January 15, 2021 – The State of Connecticut revises a November 2020 announcement: “All Road Races are prohibited, effective November 23, 2020, until Spring 2021, subject to COVID-19 metrics.” Page 15 of Outdoor Events (1/19/21).
January 15, 2021 – The State of Connecticut announces: “Low and Moderate Risk sports (basketball, ice hockey, gymnastics, indoor track, swimming, etc.): Practices can begin on January 19, 2021; Competitions can begin February 1, 2021.” Details
USATF-Connecticut Association meetings are the second Wednesday, 7:00 PM (Eastern Time) of February, April, May, September, October and November.
The October event is the Annual Meeting of the Association.
Anyone interested is invited to attend. Due to Covid-19 precautions, meetings currently are web-based, using Zoom video conferencing. For a link to join any of these, please write bobfontaine@gmail.com, subject Meeting Address, specifying the month you wish to participate. A few days before the event you will be emailed the link.
