Brittany Heninger is USATF-CT December Athlete of the Month

Brittany Heninger of Bristol, CT and a top runner for the Milford Road Runners has been named the USATF-CT December Athlete of the Month. Heninger completed the unprecedented feat of winning all five USATF-CT Cross Country races over the fall and led the Milford Road Runners to the team title in the XC Series.

Heninger won each of her five races by an average of 20 seconds; there were four 5k’s and one 8k.

Honorable mention goes to Elizabeth Campbell of SoundRunner Racing for her 2:55 performance at the Philadelphia Marathon in late November.
