2017 CT Cup is the Kent Pumpkin Run on October 29, 2017!
The 2017 Connecticut Cup will be a co-ed Road Racing Championship. The top three men and top three women from each team will score.The cumulative net (chip) times of six members will be compared to those of other teams to determine placing. (If net times are not available gun (gross) times will be used). $500 will be awarded to the winning team and $300 to second place. ** New for 2017: There is $200 up for grabs for the top co-ed Masters team (2 males and 2 females, combined) and $120 for second.
The CT Cup trophies will continue to be presented to the top men’s team (4 scorers) and top women’s (4 scorers) team separately; financial prizes are given in the co-ed competition. Athletes may/will score as both the co-ed and men’s or women’s team. All members must be declared in advance (firstname.lastname@example.org) and must be current USATF-CT members; teams must also be current USATF-CT teams. At the race, as soon as the timer makes results available, each competing club must provide one person to assist with the compilation of team scores.
